There are two ways to join Team Runability for the Bath Half Marathon 2013:- Get your place through the 2013 Bath Half Marathon public entry and then use it to support the work of our charity. Join our team using your Own Place and we will give you the same great support we give our charity place runners, but you can choose your own fundraising target. Leonard Cheshire Disability supports thousands of disabled people in the UK and works in more than 50 countries. Our campaigns and services improve opportunities for disabled people and support them to pursue their goals and to live full lives. The money you raise will help us to continue to do this in a multitude of ways.
It could pay for a series of craft sessions to help improve a disabled person's manual dexterity, or help fund a Sensory Room to give multi-sensory stimulation for residents at one of our services. Greenhill House in Timsbury is raising money to improve access to their orchard and garden, widening the pathways to make sure that the 'Bath in Bloom' award winning areas can be enjoyed by everyone.
