The awards have received the backing of the Enterprise Minister Jim Mather MSP which signals the Government’s commitment to make Scotland a more disability friendly and inclusive society. We therefore hope Scottish businesses will take the opportunity to fill out nomination forms to showcase their disability friendliness.

Director of Leonard Cheshire Disability services in Scotland, Stephen Neale said:

"There are real benefits both economically and socially in making your business open and accessible to all. We must remember disability is everyone’s business therefore I hope these awards go some way to engage both businesses and the public at large about disability issues’".
