Suitability
Building on the success of our Workability programme, Suitability is designed to enable us to deliver a wider range of services to meet the needs of disabled jobseekers and entrepreneurs. At its core, it is a powerful online resource backed by a team of Advisors that identifies the skills, talents and experience of disabled jobseekers and matches them with employers as part of an online recruitment service. It also enables us to work collaboratively with partners and statutory agencies. The service is entirely FREE and accessible to registered jobseekers, employers, advisors/tutors and partners at any time, from any terminal with internet access, by using their unique username and password. The Suitability website will:
- Provide a fully online, virtual infrastructure for jobseekers, employers, advisors/tutors, and partners to connect together
- Support pathways that respond to the skills needs of individuals and meet employer recruitment needs
- Empower jobseekers to access Personal Advisors and connect with a community who have similar needs/goals
- Build on the pre employment phase of support, and allow better ‘tracking’ through an effective management system including monitoring and reporting facilities
- Take a multi agency approach (including tracking referrals)
- Provide tools that enable route way brokerage, and the option of distance peer, educational, and employment and skills mentors/support
- Allow visitors to browse through the services and then log in to benefit directly from the job application process
