Picture of a disabled person trying to get past rails of clothes. Entitled 'Space the final frontier'.
In first place is a poster campaign highlighting three main access issues faced by disabled people.

They were designed by residents from Bradbury House in Crook.

In second place is 'The Protagonist', an idea stated as a design project on disabled access. To see the Protaganist in action follow this link to a short video on Youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPVtcH-kQ9Q

In joint third place, entries from Mark Dunn and Laura Taylor.

Mark Dunn - this entry depicts attitudes to disability and his experience where by ‘most people go on courses on what to do and say but fail to apply it.’

A picture showing a wheelchair user unable to get into his house because of a step.
Laura Taylor - this entry illustrates one of the many access issues that Laura’s dad faces every day of his life.

‘Many people will assume that as he is disabled this restricts him from many things. But he leads a very fulfilling life, when he has proper access.’
