Clare Pelham, Chief Executive of Leonard Cheshire Disability, said: "Vicky will bring us immense experience of strategic and operational HR, together with a huge understanding of organisational development, and creating a values-based culture. She fully embraces our commitment to creating a society in which every person is equally valued, and will be a terrific addition to the Management Board."
Vicky Hemming said: "I am delighted to be joining a charity I have long admired, with a purpose and values I fully embrace, and with such dedicated and committed staff."
Vicky will formally join the charity on 5 November.
